Hidden Sums

A math puzzle game for kids. Each round gives a target number and a chalkboard of digits and signs. Hidden in the grid are lines that add, subtract, multiply or divide to make the target, and the player drags across each one to loop it in chalk.

Design and development
  • 200 rounds in chapters, introducing one operator at a time
  • Grids from 7×7 to 10×10, with targets from 50 to 1000
  • Hints that point to where an answer starts without giving it away
  • No ads, no accounts, and no data collected

Wrist Recorder

A voice recorder for Apple Watch. A note recorded on the watch is sent to the iPhone and transcribed automatically, then sorted into color-coded categories, ready to search or share.

An Adventure Of Our Own

An interactive story book in which a child and a grown-up, or another partner, create their own story together. Along the way, readers choose the elements they want for their adventure and decide how the story goes.

Vision Calculator

Computes feature size, field of view and working distance for a manufacturer's machine vision cameras. It draws on the published specifications of the cameras, sensors and lenses, so users need little optics knowledge to get answers.

A web portal for managing trucking logistics for a national company, part of an inter-company site for truck cargo manifests. We built the company's client interface, working alongside the developers of the internal database and management portal.

Embedded Linux

WiFi Hotspot Firmware

Custom router firmware for a pay-per-use hotspot controlled by a PHP back-end server. Prepaid codes authorized wireless devices by MAC address for a set amount of time, with a browser-based control panel to track usage.
