Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
Wrist Recorder is made by Savi Solutions, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Wrist Recorder on iPhone and Apple Watch.
What we collect
Nothing. Wrist Recorder has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We don't run servers for the app, and we never receive your recordings, transcripts, or any other information about you.
Where your notes are stored
- Recordings and transcripts stay on your devices. They're saved in the app's storage on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Notes on your iPhone are included in your iPhone's backups, like other app data.
- Syncing between your own devices. Notes recorded on your Apple Watch are sent to your paired iPhone using Apple's Watch Connectivity. If you turn on "Copy iPhone Recordings to Watch", notes recorded on your iPhone are sent to your watch the same way. With "Sync Deletions" on (the default), deleting a note on one device deletes it on the other. Apple's Watch Connectivity handles these transfers between your devices; we never receive them.
Transcription
Wrist Recorder transcribes your recordings with Apple's speech recognition. When your iPhone supports it, transcription happens on the device. Otherwise, the audio is sent to Apple to be transcribed, under Apple's Privacy Policy. iOS asks for your permission before any transcription happens, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Speech Recognition.
Microphone
Wrist Recorder uses the microphone only while you're recording a note. iOS and watchOS ask for your permission first, and you can change it at any time in Settings.
Deleting your data
Delete a note in the app to remove its recording and transcript. Deleting the app removes all of its notes from that device.
Children
Wrist Recorder doesn't collect information from anyone, including children.
